Email Marketing Specialist/Web Designer

The Email Marketing Specialist/Web Designer will work alongside the Web Master and Digital Media Manager to assist in creating, managing and deploying all email marketing efforts as well as assisting with updating and maintaining customer-facing web experiences. Using a strong visual design style and relevant web development skills, this position works to cultivate brand messaging to generate additional revenue, awareness, and loyalty, while ensuring best practices, targeting and relevant segmentation are met. Most importantly, the best candidate will have a positive attitude with a passion to learn and grow the role.
Fluent in HTML & CSS
Proficient with an Email Marketing Service (such as Constant Contact)
Experience with JavaScript/jQuery
Experience with .NET development (C# preferable)
Understanding of SQL database management
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop and Illustrator
Able to read, write and speak English. Skilled in oral and written communication is required.
A detail-oriented self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with high-level management and all other levels of the organization.
Strong problem solving skills with a proven ability to work on and deliver multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
Thick-skinned with a personal pride in finished deliverables, ability to thrive under pressure and exhibit ownership of projects from start to finish
Adaptable to new turnkey marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Ability to learn and adapt to new software quickly and familiarity with interactive technologies.
Strong understanding of internet and multimedia marketing combined with an awareness of new technologies, website design, development and maintenance.
Strong visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, images and interactivity impact design is essential.
Knowledge and willingness to continually learn best practices and meet all compliances of email marketing.
Maintaining and adapting email marketing campaigns to increase proven, data-driven results, through consumer segmentation, communication, imagery, A/B testing and ROI analysis.
Previous experience with email marketing campaigns, organization and reporting
Strong customer-facing design skills
A broad understanding of the tourism industry
Design, create, schedule and deploy mass email marketing campaigns.
Assist in the design, development and maintenance of all related websites.
Maintain statistical information in relation to email marketing campaigns.
Stay abreast of new technology and trends in web development and email marketing.
Effectively communicate with department heads to ensure all digital email presence is a success.
Perform other duties as assigned by management and team members.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
